If you are choosing to pay in cash, please send an email to downtownateliernyc@gmail.com with your name and your child's name so I can account for you attending class. Please also write 'The Wild' in the subject line as we also have a location in the seaport.

About the Class

Each session will have different curated sensory provocations (invitations to play) for your child to explore. My goal is for children to build independence and make discoveries by freely exploring these provocations. Class will be child led, allowing each child to work with the materials and play as they wish during this 45minute class. Class is ideal for children 9m-3yrs old. Downtown Atelier celebrates curiosity and imagination all while connecting with other children in the community!

About The Instructor

Lindsay and her partner Ciara are the founders of Downtown Atelier NYC. They both were pre-k teachers at the Blue School in nyc, until its closure last June. They wanted to continue working with materials in the way that they do, so now they run a Mini-Atelieristas class in the Seaport area which operates out of the Peck Slip school. Since the school will be closed for the summer, Lindsay is excited to bring a glimpse of their program to the Greenpoint area.

- I understand that this is a parent/caregiver participation class. I will never leave the classroom for any reason.

Cancellation Policy: Drop ins must be cancelled at least 8 hours prior to class. Make-ups are not available.

***Due to limited capacity in the store and out of safety for everyone, strollers are to be parked outside in front of the store's windows on a first-come, first-served basis. No exceptions will be made. Tarps will be provided during rainy days for the strollers in front of the windows, but please arrive early to ensure a spot. Wearing your baby is always encouraged due to our shop's stroller parking policy. Participants may enter the classroom 5 minutes to the start of class. Please respect everyone's experience and arrive on time.
