New York City moms, Sarah Edwards and Liz Turrigiano, cloth diapered their own children, but it wasn't always easy. In 2009, they decided to make cloth diapering accessible and manageable to more parents. Diaperkind supports the organic cotton industry and makes sure all growers use fair-trade practices. Detergents are plant based, and retired diapers are sent to charitable organizations. Diaperkind runs their company with three words in mind: community, environment, and respect.
