Each class centers around a theme, bringing stories to life through yoga poses, interactive games and partner work. They’ll learn valuable life skills like patience, resilience, physical and mental strength and even leadership. Confidence-building exercises such as allowing children to lead the class! The inclusion of music makes room for creative movement, self expression and the chance to have fun all whilst learning. Best of all, each session ends with a practical takeaway that kids can use in their daily lives. The last session will focus on collaboration (there is no us without u!) where the kids get a chance to work on a colourful, collaborative piece of art, bringing to life the themes of kindness and friendship they will have learnt in class.

About the Instructor, Shereena:

Born and raised in India, with a passion for dance and all things movement, Shereena went from being a full time PR specialist to a children's fitness and dance instructor, teaching young children in Montessori and IB schools in Mumbai. She has recently moved to New York and attributes some of the most valuable life lessons and skills to her journey as a yoga teacher in various Montessori, IB, and private institutions for differently-abled children. In these settings, she worked closely with faculty, including occupational therapists, to learn about each child and design a suitable program. She also studied yoga with Eddie Stern in New York City.
