About the Class:

Blair Mauri Pelvic Health and Mama Like Me pilates is excited to once again offer a Diastasis Recti workshop for both pregnant and postnatal parents. We are here to demystify DRA and make sure you feel safe and confident when moving your body. We will cover what a DRA is, what causes it, and most importantly, how to heal it. We will also check you for DRA and teach you how to perform self checks to monitor your progress. The workshop will end with a pilates flow that helps you feel strong and connected to your core.

 

About The Instructors:

Blair Mauri is a licensed Occupational Therapist specializing in Pelvic Floor Therapy with a focus on serving the pre and postnatal community. She provides in-home services for her clients in Brooklyn and Manhattan. Blair has a passion for working in women’s health, supporting the transition to parenthood, and empowering her clients to feel in charge of their own wellness and recovery. Keren Feingold is a Master Instructor and Lead Teacher Trainer at Real Pilates in NYC. She is certified by the Pilates Method Alliance and holds a specialty in Pre- and Post-Natal Fitness by the American Council on Exercise. For over a decade, Keren has been helping women stay fit through and beyond pregnancy, without fear of harming themselves or their baby. She has helped to relieve a variety of injuries and maladies using her signature safe workouts based on the Pilates method.
