About the Class:
Baby & Me Yoga offers exactly what your mind, body, and spirit need as a new parent. Join us to let go of stress, rebuild your core strength, and relieve the neck and shoulder tension that often comes with caring for a newborn. This class is all done in a playful, open, supportive environment alongside other new moms, dads and little ones. Introduce your little one to yoga early! Best for newborns from 6 weeks until crawling too much to do yoga.
About the Instructor:
Madison was first drawn to yoga as a physical challenge for supplemental flexibility and strength training in 2010. After months of practicing only one limb of yoga, asana, she began to see the benefits of her practice in areas other than her physical body. In 2016, Madison completed her 200 hour YTT at Rishikesh Yog Peeth in the teachings of Hatha Yoga. She teaches yoga classes in corporate offices, luxury apartment buildings, schools and studios all over the NYC metro area. As one of her corporate yoga students said, "Madison creates an environment where everyone - from people who have never done yoga to people who teach yoga outside of their 9-5 - feel comfortable and welcome." Madison enjoys the fluidity and dance-like qualities of yoga and combines breath with movement in her classes. She also loves to use the support of props to relax and ease the physical body, as well as essential oils and hands-on adjustments. Madison's classes will help you find proper alignment, connection and peace with your mind, and deep relaxation.
