About the Class:
Growing a healthy human doesn't have to be unhealthy for the planet. How you choose to diaper your baby is one small choice among many. Esembly aims to inspire parents to question the way things have been done in the past, and empower them to make choices that have a positive impact on their family, community and planet.
During our virtual 101 class we'll explain everything you need to know about our Esembly reusable diapering system. You’'ll learn some key things like how the diapers work, how to easily and effectively launder them, how to prevent and treat rash, etc. We’ll even talk through the impact that your choice has on the planet, your wallet, and your day-to day.
You'll leave with the confidence to Live Less Disposably, and a discount code to use when placing your first Esembly order.
Before launching Esembly in the fall of 2019, Liz Turrigiano and her co-founders ran a cloth diaper service in NYC called Diaperkind where they washed (and continue to wash) over 18,000 diapers PER WEEK! Through Diaperkind, Liz studied the science of laundering diapers alongside a PhD in biochemical engineering, and worked with 1,000s of new parents and babies to understand the ins and outs of diaper design, skincare and proper storage. She has also cloth diapered 2 babies of her own.
