Babywearing 102 : Carrier Clinic
Fun Fact: As your baby grows and develops, your babywearing skills need to too ;)
Whether your babe has outgrown the carrier you swore by in their first months of life, or if your once-comfy carrier is now simply NOT - you’re probably due for some new tricks and tools to help level-up your babywearing game. Got a kiddo who hates facing inward all of the sudden? Have a wrap that you’d like to learn how to tie on your hip? Need something different for an airplane trip or for a warm-weather vacay? Are you figuring out how to wear your little person in the winter and keep everyone warm and toasty (but not overheating?) Enter this new monthly Carrier Clinic!
This 90-minute workshop is designed for parents who have some babywearing experience and need feedback on any and all things related to babywearing. Whether you want a simple adjustment to a carrier you love and already own, or you’re in a babywearing rut and need to check out something entirely different, you’ll receive hands-on help from me - one of the most babywearing experienced teachers in New York City.
Please note: this clinic is for families who have some babywearing experience and want help with:
- carrier adjustments and fittings
- assistance using a new type of carrier
- learning alternative front carries
- learning hip carries
- learning if, when and how to forward-face in a carrier.
If you would like to learn how to put your baby on your back for back-wearing, please email me at, email@example.com for my next Backwearing Clinic. Attendance will be limited to 6 child/adult pairs to make sure that everyone gets the personal attention they need.
If you are pregnant, or a brand new parent with little-to-no babywearing experience, please head over to our monthly Babywearing 101 . This introductory class is designed for families who are babywearing novices and still figuring out what carriers they want and will work for their new life with a baby.
